It is a fight every year with the doctors for me because I always turn it down - but I literally always get sick from it. I know that sounds weird and I tell patients all the time that the vaccine cannot make you sick; yet it does lol.

I feel like a hypocrite sometimes; but it's just not one that I am "for."
BUT I am not saying it is not for other people!

I work in Biotech and we are required to get it but I always do anyway. Always have.

I think thats just daft but thats just my opinion.

Thats great news and I hope this will qualify for fast tracking if the results aren't showing to many negatives durning trials.

Well my relief from the arthritis pain was short lived.
Although the drug works well as a painkiller I started to get burning stomach acid and since yesterday pain in the chest with shortness of breath so that's it I've stopped taking them and I'll be going back to the doctors later this week.

I must admit I'm not brilliant with taking medications I hope it doesn't take too long until we find one that doesn't cause nasty side effects.

I was back at my Gp today. This time I saw one of the partners and again Ive been impressed.

She prescibed some cream for a sudden bout of excema Ive developed and a prescription for a new medication to help the arthritis.

She asked if I worked and when I told her no because Im offically OH carer she asked if we have ever had any help or support form our gp regarding OH's dementia. I said no and she then asked if the praactice could be of any help. I explained that we do ok and we do have a case worker, she was happy about that but said in the intrests of getting to know OH in a relaxed way she would like to do a home visit next week ( if that suited) I nearly fell off the chair. A home visit

I didnt know they still exsisted!
So shes popping round next week to meet OH and introduce herself..

Wonders never cease.
