I leave mine fairly natural. We actually have a lot of clovers growing... and random grass looking stuff that probably isn't actually grass lol we do throw grass seeds around every now and then for a mixed turf for the dogs, but we don't care if we have 'weeds.'

Our climate means we rarely water the lawn, and I tend to leave the weeds. We do have a healthy moss colony running through it. This is because of the woods shading so much.

Cherry, it is a Home Owner's Association. They are there to enforce the rules of the development and upkeep the common areas.

We don't have an HOA, but we chose a community that didn't have one on purpose so we have freedom to do what we want with our yard (aside from town rules of course). However, the downside is that your neighbors can be terrible, and there is nobody to keep them in check lol

It usually lifts and moves well.... I brought some back that was different from a walk we like. It was going great, then the birds decided they wanted it for nesting. lol

Are you talking about the chairs?  They look kind of imposing, don't they?

They are one of my proudest purchases.  $27/piece , wide, comfortable when I throw in a cushion and blanket. When it rains, I just take the accessories inside and leave the chairs to be washed naturally.

They do have their good points and their bad points.

Not with an HOA.

They got better Karen, but also got more expensive. Where I am now, the monthly HOA is $460.
