We are going to plant a blue ray kousa dogwood tree and some autumn twist encore azaleas out front. We are also looking for some native viburnum to plant, but we are having trouble finding any locally.
I am kind of obsessed with bicolored flowers right now... I want to also get some bicolored roses for near the mailbox, but that will be for next year perhaps.
I may share some photos later of some of the plants I mentioned us planting last year.. my plants near the house got injured when we had our roof replaced, so some of them could look a bit better, but they are still alive.

I might be a little different than most. i grow my veggies using hydroponics. If i remember I will post some pics.
I have considered that for my deck. I saw a vertical version at someone's house once, and I thought it was neat. They were growing lettuce mostly, which is probably what I would do.

I have a vertical tower as well as six buckets in two horizontal traditional planters.
I have a black thumb so let it be known that I do not garden.
My ex was like that. I once bought him a living stone, within a month or two, we renamed it dead mush.
It was also his job to look after the house plants, seeing as I was at work. When we moved, out stuff was in storage longer than we expected. Despite this, in comparison to his care, they had thrived.
