That sounds really stylish. I don't have a "powder room" but if I ever do, I will consider your design ideas.

I've cleaned my bathroom and kitchen. I also did the dusting and took out the rubbish & recycling.

It is my regular Monday routine.

I've got on a load of laundry. I took out the rubbish & recycling. I keep on top of the washing up. And I also am airing out my apartment.

It's all good.

My laundry dries quickly, too. This is really good. Because I don't want to breathe in damp laundry in my apartment.

It ought to be easier than a larger place. A good hoover round in a house can take a good part of the day

You'd be surprised: the fridge needs to be cleaned. The cupboards need to be regularly emptied and sorted. This includes the food cupboard/the cleaning cupboard/the linen cupboard/the wardrobe. Then you've got the skirting boards to dust and clean. The hoovering, which means moving furniture. You also have to clean the window frames regularly...You need to always take out the rubbish and recycling. You have to be vigilant about keeping the air smelling fresh. This means opening windows and running fans. You also need to sort out drawers: from the junk drawer in the kitchen to my bedroom top-drawer.

Need I go on?

I do think a small house looks cluttered or untidy quicker than a bigger place.
Even a stray cushion or magazine really stands out in a small house whereas it goes unnoticed in a larger place.

I really need to wash my car sometime this weekend.

I am just about to get started.

Mine is still dirty. Maybe tomorrow...

This regular laundry you are doing. I thought you lived on your own. Surely you wait until there is a full load needing doing?

Ummm... Sounds familiar.  

Probably not  today. It looks to be a rainy and stormy day. 

That's true but I have found it a good idea to look around my car after a service as they sometimes make mistakes.
