Just finished tidying the tools I used on Monday lol They were over the garage floor. Of course, the car never goes anywhere near the garage.
Tools of any sort are one thing that I try to keep in their assigned place. They are sometimes needed in a rush and it's very annoying having to search. The garage floor has wood, bamboo garden canes etc. They form a central island between the track of the car wheels. I've just got to remember not to pile things so high that the exaust catches them

I have to say that I am a neat freak, I can't stand things out of order, clutters, messes, dusts...
Many people blame the state of their house on having young children, busy with works and others... even when my son was still a baby and I typically worked 9-10 hours a day, my house has always been well organized and clean even though my cleaners are here only once a week.
I can see that would work for those who have lost control.
But will it?
Why would they suddenly change their ways?
Habits are just what they say they are, and whether good or bad. They are hard to break.
That's my thought too.
Actually, this has been bugging me all morning, and I have been trying to think of a single example of any mental health compulsion that would involve overwhelming the sufferer to make them change their ways.
Anyone?
It just isn't going to work. If anything, it is more likely to entrench them.

I want to be like this. But I love some objects that add clutter. I WANT to be extra neat & tidy but I can't manage it. I DO throw things away and I DO declutter. It just isn't perfect.
Im tackling my big store cupboard today. Some of the boxes on the top shelf have been there since we moved in I know its cookery things cutters tins etc but I need to sort through and see what I really use/need and what can go . Then its time to stock check and make sure everything is FIFO'd
