Ironing today.

I almost took the bin out, I remembered it wasn't Wednesday right at the last minute.

My cleaning today was sorting out boxes in the old house we had loads of room so we had loads of ornaments and bits and pieces and we kept..well dust to collectors really.

So I've had a good sort through a couple of boxes. I've taken pictures out frames that I no longer display looked at ornaments that I can't remember buying or remember the reason why and I've put all of those into a box for a charity shop donation.

I cleaned my bathroom and kitchen today.

Talking about house cleaning and everything related to this subject, I thought this might be something interesting to know:

- How frequent do you clean your house? Mop, dust, including cleaning the plantation shutter ( or blind), window sills, wiping all doors and windows, including exterior and interior, wiping baseboard and crown molding?
- how frequent do you clean your bathrooms?
- How frequent do you deep clean your refrigerator, oven, air fryer?
- How frequent do you have your windows, doors, skylines ( if you have them) cleaned by professional?
- How extensive are you when you clean your furniture? wiping the top only or everything all around them, top to bottom?
- How frequent do you have your mattress, upholtered furnitures cleaned by professional?
- How frequent do you have your rugs and tapestries cleaned by professional?
- How frequent do you clean your door mats?
- How frequent do you change/wash your pillow cases?
- How frequent do you changed/wash your beddings? not just the sheets but also the blankets, liners, comforters?
- How frequent do you clean your silk plants?
- If you have draperies, how frequent do you have them washed/cleaned?

No professionals here either.

Tidy as we go , we never leave dirty dishes or cups laying around,
Air fryer, microwave, cooker hob, are cleaned each time we use them .  Dining table is cleaned after each meal.  Fridge and oven mostly once a week.
WC gets a clean almost daily,  full clean of WC and bathroom at least once a week.

Bedding and towels are changed regularly,   quilts are aired daily. Mattress is cleaned and turned every 3 months
Windows doors etc when needed , doormats at least twice a week.

How frequent....   Not frequent enough. I mean nothing is neglected but we could do better. One thing though is the bathroon is always spotless.

Being clean is very important and important to keep on top of dirt and mess.

Two loads of laundry today.

We are the same. Apart from the cost of the electricity ie waste of money, there is the environmental damage done by something that is free to a perfectly useful natural process.

We do own a tumble dryer, but it's rarely used. Just emergencies really...

eco friendly smug mode has just been engaged.

Her's hoping for a dry day. I got my washing out early before breakfast today.

Lost a pandora ornament, and you know how little they are... It's a present for the so's xmas. It's a good choice as it's a collie, but I have no idea where it is, so I pulled all my room furniture out, no luck finding it, but behind, and under, the furniture is all well hoovered.

Today is 'look under the bed day' in all the under bed storage boxes.

Just finished tidying the tools I used on Monday lol They were over the garage floor. Of course, the car never goes anywhere near the garage.
