lets have a cleaning thread.

I've cleaned my bathroom and kitchen. I also keep on top of the laundry. I cleaned my lounge tables and changed my lounge table cloths. I also did all the dusting. I am airing out my apartment, as well as running the dehumidifier and two fans.

A repeat post! So ignore.

I do have a fondness for cleaning!

That's why they increase the restrictions on ours, I think. To cut down on the amount of waste. I had a whale of a time a few months back when we got a new set of dining chairs and trashed the ones we had. They were falling apart. I still have dad's old axes and made good use of them chopping the chairs up. Few people want firewood these days so there was little other use for them. Apart from the odd seat insert though. I find them useful for kneeling on when checking the car, or even in the garden. These days our waste goes to power production rather than landfill.

I cleaned out some planters this morning as their crops are now done and their flowering is over so not much for the bees. They are now ready for crops for the winter.

I need to tidy my linen closet and sort out my food cupboards. There is no rotting food in them, but they are messy and need tidying up.

I bought a couple of clear Rubbermaid containers for flour. I just buy the smaller bags so they're easier to carry home, and one bag fits in a container. I need to check that shelf soon and clean it off, but I think the containers are reducing that kind of flour mess. (Plus they look tidier in the cupboard than the original packaging! )

Apparently, the toilet is the last room a man will choose to clean. 

Did he get an option?  

I usually clean them, but it gets these water stains that I can't ever seem to get out, so he gave it a go lol otherwise, I'm not sure how often he'll do that.

Laundry again today. Airing out my apartment. Am running two fans. Keep on top of the washing up...
