The boys are beginning to find their favourite tasks with dishwasher duty. Excellent! And I'll get to use the machine on the weekends they're not here, so I'll be choosing to use the dishes that fit best inside...

I've done a LOT of cleaning today:
1. Cleaned my bathroom 2. Cleaned my kitchen 3. Put away now-dry clothes 4. Washed a quick load of laundry 5. Cleaned lounge tables 6. Changed lounge table cloths 7. Wiped down surfaces with anti-bacterial wipes 8. Took out the rubbish & recycling 9. Am airing out my apartment 10.Am running the dehumidifier 11.Am running two fans
I had an office cleaner like that once. I would come in the morning, and she had tidied my desk, leaving all the papers in neat pile.
I left it for a week, before speaking to her. She was an excellent cleaner, I didn't want to lose her.
Everything has its place. Even if untidy
I had two desks in my next office. One had my pc, and the other was where I wrote.
My writing desk top was where everything went that I wasn't actually working on, ie the less important stuff. My system was quite simple. I would just throw stuff on the desk when it arrived, in any old manner. Thus the desk was rather untidy.
Now if there is one thing I dislike in an office, it's an untidy desk. Thus I would work hard to get it all done, so it could be tidied away. I rarely left an untidy desk on Fridays.

We washed the vinyl floor downstairs today, and we've got the last load of laundry in the washer.
I think my dryer is only super loud on low heat (and/or the automatic drying that senses when the load is done), so I'll leave my clothes to dry in the evening when we're not all hanging out close to the machine's location. (I'll eventually call for repairs when we know we're going to be home long enough and the account is nicely topped up! In the meantime, we're getting more info by trying different dryer modes...)
I'm washing two loads of laundry today: the first is a quick load and is on now.
I reign supreme when it comes to laundry!!!
Please consider the environmental issues when it comes to laundry.
I know it shocked us when we read about it, and we now take a much more balanced view as to how often our clothes really need washing, and believe me, we are not mucky people.

Perhaps I look more on the electricity bill issue but two loads in a day would be very ususual. Even sequential days of using the washing machine are rare. Often it works well to just air things out after being worn once. It's really only underwear or things that do get dirty which need washing and, having ample, they can be allowed to build up for a load. Some of my skirts are worn infrequently so I tend to air them out then hang in my wardrobe rather than religiously wash after each time I wear them.
I agree that we, as a society, do overdo things, and, in some cases, may be inviting things like allergies in doing so.

That ^^ about covers our system too. Washing too often doesn't do the fabrics, or shapes any favours either. So, it's a win for environment, and the purse.

Today I have cleaned my bathroom and kitchen. I also wiped down surfaces free from dust. I am airing out my apartment too and am running the dehumidifier in my bathroom. I have also taken out the rubbish & recycling.

We're catching up today, working on Tuesday and Wednesday typical cleaning tasks. Tomorrow will be Thursday and Friday cleaning so we're all set for the weekend!
So far, the vinyl flooring downstairs has been swept and washed, and I've also done my part of the bathroom cleanup. After lunch will be dusting (of which I do upstairs) and the boys will finish the rest of the bathroom, plus the windows. (Someday we should tackle what we can reach of the outside of the windows...)
