I don't disagree with your choices at all, but there are lots of grey areas in charities, and when you get people seeking money for areas that you object to, then you get conflict.

As a for instance, I understand that in the Boston area in particular, there are still collections for the Provisional IRA in N. Ireland.

The Shoutbox would maybe be used more if it was at the top of the page, not the bottom?

That way, when you refreshed it would pop into view.

At the bottom, you have to go looking for it.

But now we need to focus on the description. I do want it to be detailed so there is no confusion about the purpose. I agree I do not want it to involve donations.

As for the chat... The focus of the site is the forum, so having the chat at the top might put off some people, whereas having it at the bottom doesn't bother anyone; that is one of the only downsides I can think of to having it at the top I guess (aside from the shout box being bulky, but I can't do too much about that). Most women didn't use it when we had it at the old forum, and it was at the top. I guess it's not something people care about, but they still like that it's there if they wanted to use it lol I think I might fall into that group a little =p

Well, I'm sure you will see it every now and then, but it shouldn't be often. Sometimes servers get overloaded with too many people which can cause issues connecting to the site =p

Yep.. I just wonder which plugin is the culprit. Or if it's a combination! I suppose if nobody else has this issue yet I will not do anything, but if others start to report similar issues, then I will investigate to find out which one it is ^_^

For now.. I am just going to close out the forum every now and then before it lags my browser too much lol

I have only ever had one bad gateway on this place forever. No lags, crashes, nothing. I find this site very stable.
