I'm all about Christmas almost any time of year (and try to do something small that's Christmassy on the 25th of each month) but I've got nothing right now. Ha ha!

That's cute.
I am out this morning to do some xmas shopping. I am looking for some nice jewellery for Andrea.
I'm all about Christmas almost any time of year (and try to do something small that's Christmassy on the 25th of each month) but I've got nothing right now. Ha ha!
That's a nice idea and something I am going to start doing.
I got confirmation that my parcel to the grandchildren was delivered today. The things I ordered for friends and family arrived yesterday and so I just have to write some cards and wrap the gifts.
I have been online buying my daughter's stuff. It's less fun, but a lot easier.
Online is maybe more businesslike but it's a lot less fuss. I can remember when going to shops for Christmas shopping was such good fun, lots of beautiful decorations, great atmosphere , lots of well trained staff willing to help out, staff that knew what they were doing.... these days you get some 16-year old who is either busy picking their nose or looking at their phone and can't really be bothered to help. A lot of shops have very loud music and totally illogical set-ups . Then there's all the trouble for getting there and getting back again crazy parking fees bad bus connections or taxis that don't turn up I'll just stick to internet...
Yet again the Wielenpolle including the caravan park (offically the poorest neighbourhood in the country) has decorated their whole neighbourhood and turned it into a wonderful Christmas village. From now until Christmas people can walk through or drive through and admire all the lights nativity cribs and theamed streets.
They do this every year and especially now with so many things being closed due to covid regulations this si just a wonderful place to drive through with the children...
Dont get me wrong I would hate to live there but their sense of community is outstanding.
For December 1st, we had warm air come in with the latest atmospheric river (new term for me this year) and it felt like spring. Today, it's beginning to look a lot like Christmas... ☺️ Before I shovel my parking spot and steps in the back, I'll get more Christmas cards done. I'm going east to west across the country, hoping to get ahead of any mail backlog that might happen. Yesterday I mailed off the cards for friends and family in the east. Today my aim will be the prairie relatives. Everyone in BC after that. I'll just hand deliver in my own neighbourhood - worth the stamp cost if it's on the other end of town!
I've been shopping for presents for others online pretty much my entire adult life xD I don't like shopping in person really, never did. There's a lot more options these days, so I'm happy.
