I wish they hadn't planted the trees like that. It makes it look so 'manufactured' where as all around it, looks great, and a nice combination of modern facilities with rugged nature.
This area where I am at has nothing to brag about.
lol same. The city closest to me looks similar to any other city... lots of tall buildings and lights. Where I live is a small town with nothing very special or specific to it.
There must be something interesting about where you live?
I agree Cherry. There has to be something. Take the time to look around and you might surprise yourself.
I'm 3 hours from large mountains (about 1 or 1.5 from a small one), 3 hours from the beach, and 1 hour from a lake. Good for little day trips.
We do have old oak trees along some roads.... lots of crepe myrtles in a lot of the shopping centers and such. Good amount of deer and bunnies who visit us. It's pretty similar to all other small towns around here, though lol I still like it here either way, and I personally think it's pretty with all the trees, but some areas chop them all down for new houses. There is this small man-made pond in my neighborhood that I like to walk by, and sometimes there will be a bunch of geese there.
Some of the stuff around where I live is in neighbor yards. There is this one neighbor I pass by during my long walks who has this giant 'blob' of rose bushes. It looks so cool when it's flowering, and it gets covered in butterflies. I like walking by there!
