I've ordered my medication from the doctor: I shall collect it from the Medical Centre next week.
I am sleeping enough: it is very important to me to have a good night's sleep.
I am trying to ween myself off a certain medication. I ONLY use it when necessary. I also don't abuse my prescription medication. If I do that my doctor would find out and would stop supplying my medications.
I have been to Montreal for work a few times and I can't believe how many people smoke there and they need to do whatever they can to get people to stop.
My dad says why don't they just outlaw it. "Oh that right, they want the tax revenue. Hypocrites. "
I've been wearing contact lens for a few days and I can't stand it. Often than not, I end up taking it off and putting my glasses on. It's even better without it when I'm reading or even moving around the house. I'm waiting for a new prescription on the left eye. Optometrist said that it's the last remedy and if my eyes still don't see better then I cannot have multifocal lens. That's a bit frustrating. I started wearing eyeglasses last year -old age phenomenon Anyone wearing contact lens? What's your experience when starting? What prescription do you have?

Contacts... Never. I did try them before but couldn't stand them. In fact it freaked me out putting them in my eyes. I'll stick to my glasses.

I don't wear them but I do remember my mum having all sorts of issues when she first got them. She persevered though and did wear them for quite a few years. She only really stopped after her stroke. It became complicated then, for obvious reasons.

I am highly fortunate to not need contact lenses: or glasses. My eyes still need to be checked, though: my dad believes my constant headache could be down to an eye problem. I shall be seeing my doctor in a few weeks time and shall write a list of all my health problems.
My eyes COULD deteriorate given time. Just because my eyes work well now does not mean they always will. But - when that day comes - I am wearing glasses: NOT contact lenses.

I had 20/15 vision in one eye and 20/20 in the other, not enough to require glasses. One year, we were all forced to buy vision insurance, so I decided to get prescription contacts...for Halloween (yellow cat eyes). The optometrist was out of the size I needed, but had me try on a pair of regular colored lenses for fit. Holy cow! It took me a half hour to get them in, and one of them was scratchy! The optometrist had a look and discovered the offending lens had a small tear in it, so she had me try another. That one was much better. Once we were convinced they fit okay, she prescribed the "Wild Eyes."
I've had them for years. Before I wear them, I cleanse them thoroughly with fresh contact lens solution. I have no problem putting them in, now. It takes a few minutes to acclimate, but they don't bother me once they're in.

My so wears them for snorkelling. I couldn't consider them ever since it was mentioned that they can run over the back of your eyeball.

One issue with my mum was that she would put one in then lose it as it was out of position. It was tricky to see where it had got to although it was never round the back. I do wonder how you see such things if you cannot see very well without them. It sounds like a "catch 22" to me.

I am funny about eyes. It is one area I will not watch surgery in. If I end up with cataracts, I will need a general anaesthetic to have them done.
As for the condition that involves taking your eye out.......... jeez!

I persevered for days but I couldn't see properly. I want to be able to read with it and drive with it. At the moment, I wear glasses when driving but don't need them when I read or in front of the computer/laptop.
