If you get an allergic reaction to poison ivy, go straight to a dermatologist. Trust me.
It sounds like you have had a bad experience
Luckily we don't have that here. We do have giant hogweed though and it gives really nasty reactions. I have seen it growing in some spots locally but luckily it doesn't ge too rampant:

"Over the counter" poison ivy remedies really aren't effective especially in bad cases. One must actually fight the body's over-reaction, the allergic response itself rather than the contamination.
That sounds even worse than poison ivy. With poison ivy though, it can and usually does grow everywhere.
Our Ivy is very invasive but at least it isn't an irritant in the same way.
Talking about the Hogweed, we also have Hemlock here which is very similar, and really poisonous. Both of those plants look very similar to the more harmless Cow Parsley which grows all over the place here, an is apparently edible (and for interest has the local name of Ketsy - I'm not sure of the spelling as it is old Lincolnshire).
I am going in for an eye exam on Monday. First time in like.. wow.. 16 years maybe... I have been using the same pair of glasses this whole time, but they are just barely not enough at times. They mostly work, though lol figured it was time for an update... but I have a feeling I won't like most newer frames, as the trend right now is to be on the bigger side, and I like smaller ones.. We'll see!

Couldn't you just take your new prescription to Costco, or elsewhere, and get the lenses replaced in your old frames? I did that with 20-year old titanium frames.

I plan on having two pairs, so I can do something like that after my new ones come in. One can be for around the house (if I don't like any frames).. and the other for out and about lol sometimes I forget them because I have them sitting in the office or living room, so I probably will keep one in my purse.
I don't really have a favourite but some of the blue veined cheeses like Stilton, Danish Blue or Roquefort would come close. I like goats cheese too and also something like Red Leicester on toast. The softer ones aren't good for that as I like my cheese slightly burnt on toast under the grill. The harder cheeses go better with onion in my cheese and onion sanwiches too.
No blue cheese for me although OH does enjoy it. But.... Extra belegan ( gouda mature) for the day to day... In spring grass cheese ( gras kaas) the first cheese made after the cows feast on the new grass, its like eating cream.. goat cheese, sheep cheese , brie, st paulin, local cheese with nuts , herbs, mustard seed or pesto all great flavours. Beer cheese from Germany , chedder English Scottish or Irish , red cheeses, crumbly cheese I love it all.

I don't mind scottish cheddar, but the rest... especially extra mature ewww
Cherry, I have never had Scottish Cheddar so I can't compare.
You wouldn't be fussy. It's a mild cheddar.
My gran used to make toast for my breakfast with a thick slice of cheddar, and butter. It was always cold, and well done, when she called me. It brings back nice memories, I must try it again some time, as my tastes have changed over the years. I now like toast hot, lightly coloured, and I prefer cheese in thin slices.
A study after my own heart. They worked out what was the minimum they could get away with lol
Right, I love those lol I'm always looking for the minimum I can do to be healthier, and a lot of newer studies come out with just that because anything is better than nothing.. and they keep proving it ;p
I really can't sit for long periods of time. I am constantly getting up and for more than five minutes. Actually the more I am on my feet the better I feel.
