We DO live with dangerous animals on earth today: tigers/lions/crocodiles/name-any-other-animal. We manage to co-exist with them. Still, the Jurassic Park films do have an element of truth to them.

Like most evolution, it happens very slowly so I can imagine it may be true. It does make me think though
