We walk every day except in really extreme weather, by that I mean minus 15c (we have the clothes for it the dogs dont) or when there is a red weather warning. I think walking outdoors and seeing the sky clears the mind and lifts the spirits.
Im told that the simple act of walking, the stimulation it gives both physcially and mentally is whats helping keep OH so alert and healthy.

How is he?
Shattered, we put in a new velux window upstairs . He kept forgetting tools so he was up and down the ladder like a yo yo but the window went in perfectly. He forgets words a lot and he is becoming more socially withdrawn because of that but his engineering skills are still better than most peoples.
His lung condition is now offically COPD but again the walking helps to maintain healthy lung capacity and his heart health is good.. I bet he will outlive us all!

A lady I worked with years ago took early retirement first chance she got as her husband was ailing. She died long before he did.
I dont know how you cope with throwing up so often my last time was after a community BBQ and I was sick for 3 days from both ends. That was about 12 years ago. Ive never had bbq since. Just the idea of vomiting makes me panic.
I missed it and ended up with a busy day. I'll try to compensate today
hope you manage to do something nice for yourself
It was my usual Wednesday art group meeting so I was active but it was relaxing. There were only three of us there so it was quiet and we got on and were productive. I think the football was part of the reason others were away. We did get to the final though
I think I have some painting to do today. My brown stool doesn't fit in my red, black, and white room, even though it has a black and white covering.
I have got to the point of painting / staining my picture frames now. I have done one in medium oak, which seems best for a variation of landscape paintings. The other, I am looking at black and gold, for portraits. It's sounding a bit harsh but I do have a piece of spare frame I can try it on first. I am trying for a more classical look.
So did I. But this is no surprise, as you guys realize I shower every day. Plus - this morning - my hair was so unbelievably greasy. It felt damp with sweat and uncomfortable on my scalp. It felt awful. So I used my apple shampoo then rinsed my hair with cold water: heaven. I now feel much better. I can't stand greasy hair.
I tried a new conditioner today and my hair feels good. I won't look too deeply though as I found it on at the back of my storage area and may well have been bought 10 or more years ago.

I am still avoiding shampoo and conditioners for my hair.
Interestingly I have cut back and do somtimes even use conditioner as shampoo. Shampoo seems to be like - the more you use it the more you need to
That ^^ is a proven fact. Shampoos remove the sebum [natural hair oil] from your hair and scalp, giving you that squeaky sensation. The skin recognises the lack of sebum, and increases production.
If you don't want to ditch the shampoo, you can improve matters by cutting back on the shampoo, by trial and error. Your target should be to use slightly less than will cause the squeaky effect. That squeaky feeling tells you that you have stripped your hair of all it's protection. That is why you need to replace the sebum, with hair conditioner. The conditioner will remove the squeaking.
