They wouldn't like that and would get upset. lol... In fact we do have crocodiles too and they are making a big comeback. They are much more scary. They are unpredictable and will go after anything for no reason at all. They are very aggressive.

Working on spiritual care and emotional care and trying with the physical care. Trying to force myself to get up and do the things that need to get done for my own well being as well as stuff around the house. It's been slow though due to health issues.
Family isn't always blood. It's the people in your life who want you in theirs. The ones who accept you for who you are. The ones who would do anything to see you smile, and who love you no matter what.
I read an article about self care last week. It was by a doctor who said the trend of bed rotting (laying in bed doing nothing) is toxic, she said the idea that self care means shirking all responsibilty laying in bed or taking time to spoil yourself at a spa while ignoring urgent life needs is wrong.
Her idea is that taking it easy isnt a crime but real sslf care is making sure your home is the healthiest you can make it, making food choices that will aid your body not add to your problems , keeping all health appointments, regularly taking your meds etc.
I have to say I tend to agree Ive never seen the point in taking to bed and yelling woe is me..

I find it relaxing to take time out once in a while and lie in for a few hours but that is rare and maybe my body crying out to relieve stress. After so long it gets boring.

Same here.
Every so often I'll have a lie-in: but I don't make a habit of it.
And you're right Cassie: looking after the home/keeping health appointments/taking prescribed medication regularly. It is false to say self-care is expensive spas and lying in bed all day.

Laying in bed is only a solution to having a life.
