I have something similar indoors but it's needed re-potting for years so is restricted and does not grow very quickly so is only about one and a half feet. A modern home is a bit like the desert with warm dry atmospere. Our front window gets very hot in the summer as the curtains are often closed to shield from the bright sun so the temperature may well often be in the 90's or higher. My poor venus flytraps have looked failrly poorly recently but they tend to recover quickly when it cools a bit.

My dad loves western's too. I never really could watch them.

There's a nice mixture. Around me, except for the odd exception, there are usually only the traditional red variety but there are now one or two escaped opium poppies creeping in. They do sometimes grow fields of them for medical use.

We have red and yellow growing in our garden. I have been spreading them around the woods, and am already seeing some.

I am also spreading bluebell seeds too.

My parents have one mango tree. My brother planted it. I think it didn't produce fruit for many years, so they thought it never would.. and then it randomly did, but I think they don't come out very big.
