It was really nice although I did add half teaspoon of paprika powder and half teaspoon of chili powder. We couldnt eat it in 2 portions so we had it for lunch the next day as well...
Bell pepper soup

1 small jar or can of kidney (or other bean )beans (drained weight approx. 250 grams) 2 slices of ham pepper 4 wholemeal sandwiches
Preparation
Peel the onion and cut it small. Clean the peppers and cut them into pieces. Braise the onion and bell pepper gently in the margarine and squeeze the garlic clove over the top. Fry the tomato puree briefly. Add 500 ml of water and cook the soup for 10 minutes. Puree the mass in a food processor or with a stick blender. Clean the leek and cut it into thin rings. Cassie, how did you know that I'd have to be eating soup starting Friday due to dental surgery?! That looks delicious, and I'll have to try it this weekend.
Like others who've commented, I would 1.5 or double the amount of peaches. (I don't really like recipes that use produce sizes rather than weights, but oh, well.)
I may not use all the ingredients, but it'll be close to the photo that's shown. My grandma used to make it, and then Mum did, and I do! I stopped for a while because the boys weren't eating casseroles or any one-dish meals, but when I tried this last so I could enjoy it, the boys did as well.
I may get the beef ready ahead of time because it wasn't defrosted for yesterday to make burgers. (Then I got lazy and opted for frozen pizza.) Now I need to use up that beef, but once it's cooked, I've got options about when to combine it with the pasta.
Anyway, I'm now looking forward to gooey cheese and pasta!

I made Yorkshire Puddings:
1. Mix one egg in 5fl.oz of milk 2. Sift 75grams of plain flour into a glass bowl 3. Incorporate milk & egg mixture into the flour 4. Grease a tin with oil 5. Pour mixture into each cup of the tin 6. Put in the oven for 20 minutes or less
The Perfect Cold Hard Boiled Egg 1. Put the egg on the worktop and spin it. This puts the yolk in the centre 2. Boil the water without the eggs 3. When the water boils add the eggs 4. Leave boiling until the eggs rattle in the pan, and turn off heat 5. Leave eggs in the boiling water to cool 6. When cool leave in fridge over night 7. Before removing the shell, tap the blunt end of the egg. This is usually empty so the egg will not be damaged by peeling 8. Remove the rest of the shell and cut longitudinally into four quarters, and add salt to taste
I made peanut butter cookies , I dont know what happened, they were a bit too crumbly even though I followed the recipe exactly. All was not lost, I broke them and made a sort of pudding with them as a biscuit base.. Yum..
