Oil stains are best removed by rubbing margarine or butter into your hands, followed by liquid soap. Massage it in further before rinsing.

That's my tip. It works with tar too.

It could well be something I may investigate if my mower fails. There are a number of services around here but I have noticed a couple of older guys who sort minor garden problems for a lot of the older people locally. I suspect they may well be cheaper and they seem to do a good job. Our lawns are fairly small and only take about 20 minutes or so fro them both. A lot of that time is actually taken up by getting the mower out and putting it away.
