Well at least yesterdays rain should have filled up the water butt so I can clean the car. I find rainwater is better for this as it is free and not hard so does not leave tidemarks. Our tap water is hard here so leaves a residue when it dries. A car looks terrible unless fully leathered down when washed with it whereas a rainwater rinse is not too bad.

That's an interesting idea I would like to try.....

When I choose shoes, I go for comfort, rather than a heeled shoe. I just cannot get along with high heels. They look gorgeous - don't get me wrong - but they're not for me.
I like my high heels but I find myself wearing sneakers more and more lately.
Well at least you still love them. lol.. Seriously though, I wear sneakers everyday when i am home so I guess you could say I pretty much wear heels and sneakers 50/50.

I work on the theory that, wherever I am, I may need to walk, so I get footwear that is comfortable enough to walk a distance in, or else have sensible shoes in the car to exchange if needed. I seldom wear heels. I have some lovely boots but remember half wearing out the heel on my first outing. Because of that I buy little, less versatile, footwear.

I tend to opt for comfort shoe-wise, rather than style wise. I don't wear ugly shoes, but I do avoid high heels. I just can't get along with them. I have come to accept I never will.
so the living room is mostly clean. i skipped some baseboards cuz i didn't feel like moving a bunch of stuff. i gotta get some help this next spring and get this broken recliner to the curb. i finished with the clutter in there and started on the kitchen clutter. my plan is to eventually have a tiny table with 2 chairs. i am clearing out all my nick knacks cuz i no longer get any enjoyment out of them and they're just collecting dust and taking up space. plus they remind me of things i don't wanna think about anymore. i'm going for a more minimalist look. like this sorta...
I'm not sure about these myself. I know our home is cluttered but a lot of this looks just as untidy. Things around like the pictures on the bedroom floor are just waiting to catch a careless foot and a cactus beside the bed?
