It's considerably more expensive here. I just looked. It is £8.99 a month or £95 a year.

I know and its much more expensive in the USA too yet we still seem to get very similar content on the prime channel plus free delivery and discounts. I do wonder how they work out their pricing.

I also have a Dutch online marketplace called Bol. Their select costs €14.99 ( it was €12.99) per year and you get access to special sale items and no charges for delivery even in the weekend .

The cost of select easily makes sense, I ordered my hairdryer yesterday it will be delivered today at no extra charge

So far we have purchased 4 more animatronics and are looking at one more. We also have purchased a new 12 x 8 foot grave yard background. Also a lot of smaller items like skulls.bats and rodents. We are going all out this year. And I will take a lot of pics and a video or two to post.

Six kilos of chicken, its slaughtered and filleted about 50 miles from here and they send in in packs with freezer blocks to keep it cool. But last night the transport guy didnt turn up. My phone pinged at 10,30pm to say its delivered but it wasnt .. Ive been on to them and the transport company say they will resolve it within five days.. Ive told them I dont want the chicken beacuse in 5 days its gonna be green and stinking..

I just bought a sixteen portion carrot cake for £5 from Heron. It is the best carrot cake I have ever tasted, so I reluctantly bought it again.

I bought my main weekly grocery shop yesterday, as usual. I must have been somewhat forgetful as I ended up buying two packs of strawberries. I went in two supermarkets as neither had all the things on my list. The Uk strawberries are beginning to look a bit ropey now so that maybe explains it. Foreign ones often taste very bland. I did buy a reduced pork soulder joint and two packs of smoked basa fillets. The pork joint cut up into portions for five meals. My freezer is now full up again

Our strawberries are also coming to an end now, the Spainish ones are ok but any further afield I tend to avoid because as you say they are just bland water bombs

I just an email from the delivery people , after me telling them I have two dogs who bark if anyone comes up the drive as well as a camera so I know no one has been here theyve 'found' my chicken and want to deliver it this evening.

You are right, they might be sitting in an unclimate-controlled of some warehouse.
