I've bought moisturizer: including a tube of foot cream.
Only buy foot cream if it is the same price as moisturiser. It has the exact same effect. I tell my patients to buy the cheapest stuff. Baby lotion is cheap, effective, and very safe. For my feet I use what is laying around unused. I did buy a foot cream last month, and was not impressed.
Interesting to me too. I have never heard of Granite for window sills before. Can't wait to see it, Cassie.
When we moved into this home in 1992 (built in 1975) it had granite window sills that were cracked because of settling. When we replaced the aluminum windows, we had red oak sills milled, and we stained them ourselves. That was about 20 years ago, and they're no longer in vogue, along with the red oak trim and 6-panel doors we put in. LOL

In most houses in the West Coast that I have been to, it's always wood, painted in white color.

In the uk, it's virtually always upvc double or triple glazed. Mostly white, but dark grey has been popular, but seems to be past it now... Ours are oak coloured. They were here when we moved in, and as they are ok, I am not going to waste money, or mess about with ecology just for the sake of a colour... I would prefer them white really.

The trouble with white is that it can quickly become 'off white' with speckles I have found that but it's probably still better long term than wood. I think it likely with our increasingly warmer wetter climate wood may not be a good option. I wonder how kjay, finds it with their warm wet climate?
We have been on ebay looking for an exercise bike. We found one, hardly used, as new, and local.
It has a list price of £179, and has good online reviews.
Guess how much we paid for it?
It was £1.20.
We have both had a good go on it, it's great.
Just two bidders. The first only bid £1. I used my sniping tool, and offered £6. Really we were just testing the water, so were surprised that we got it at all.

I bought groceries today. I needed food so went to the shop. I also exchanged my new red boots for a larger size. The size that was bought on Saturday gave me pins and needles in my feet and it hurt. Now I have red boots that FIT.
I got some real bargains yesterday. A tin of M&S belgian chocolate biscuits for £4.50. Large punnet strawberries £1, 6 peppers 40p, large steak and kidney pie £1.75, 2 litres fresh milk 80p, large peaches 20p, and much more I can't recall.
