A pair of window opening restrictors.
We live in a bungalow so our bedroom is on ground level.
We want the windows to only open a certain distance during the night, mainly to keep out any curious cats or other 'interlopers;' for example deer, that sometimes come into our garden to munch on our rose bushes at night, so we don't want them poking their heads in or be able to open the windows wider
I have yet to fit them. They look straightforward enough. Only a drill and screwdriver required, but I have those already.

I'd be interested in doing that for my bedroom window. I live on the ground floor and want to feel safe.

We will probably fit the window restrictors over the weekend, when Vanessa and I can do it together, just so we can get the positioning how we want them
Some simple trainers. and they gave me proof that sexism is still very much alive and kicking. I went into a big sports shop they give all their lines names , I found a light summer trainer for ladies the Keviet all ' nice ' colours light grey with pink trim, beige with teal or dark grey with lilac trim. 'With heel support and suitable for ladies running about 10km per week' the label said. They felt ok and Im not running anywhere, these are just for ease of walking.
But as I turned I saw the mens section and had a quick look... Men can buy the Keviet trainer too, same shoe, same price.. In dark grey, black or dark blue with no pretty contrast ( poor fellas) and the description was ' a light shoe with added heel and forefoot support suitable for men running around 20km per week' ... Say what? Hello?
Out of interest I tried one on. Slightly broader which is good for my feet and the difference in support was glaringly obvious, the mans shoe gave support and hugged my foot where the ladies felt soft and almost sloppy by comparison.
So yet again Ive come home with mens shoes. I will put a pair of pink laces in them just to jazz them up a bit but Im seriously angered that yet again to get a bit quality you have to go look at mens clothing.

In so many cases we have to pay more for similar products as compared to men or ours are not up to the quality of men's. I know what you mean when you say angered.

One time I bought the same sandals as my SO but in a boy's size lol I have now been able to find comfy sandals for women (they look more feminine), but it took a few years.

I managed to avoid any stores today - even Amazon! Yay!
But I did need to pay a bill - it was the credit card, which I'd used for recent car repairs and once at the grocery store when I realised my regular card had been left at home. Good to have an extra way to pay!
A two seater sofa , well we live in a dolls house but we really have no seating for guests and keeping them standing seems rude!
My parents once bought a 2 seater cottage sofa. It was neat, and petite, but really uncomfortable. Ideal for the guests who you only want to stay long enough for a cup of coffee.

Oh goodie I live in hope !
When I saw that you had responded, I was expecting "Have you got a link for that very couch?"

Groceries today, and I also snagged a couple of warehouse deals on Amazon. I try to limit myself to looking for specific items and then watching to find deals on those, not browsing all the deals they've got...

Our new paper shredder arrived today. Fun!
Paper shredding and how to save time and money.
Unless you want the shreddings to use specifically...
Don't shred the whole piece of paper necessarily, just tear off the important part. The name, and address, and any specific details, then shred that little bit. The rest is usually useless to 'finders'.

It saves lots of time, and the energy used.
That's what we do. Unfortunately, many of these charity organizations ensure your information is on every page, including a return envelope.
What really makes me mad is, despite my efforts to remove myself from catalog mailing lists, I receive six or seven of them a week.
