Received my new one yesterday. The storage compartment allows for more room at the base of the cord, so it doesn't get kinked on a regular basis.

It also seems to be all-around sturdier.

I expect there is a lot more rivalry between the wire beaters than we can imagine. It's like another world in there when the cookie dough ingredients arrive.

We just have to stand back and respect the process.
