Five books from the secondhand shop...

The mid week grocery topup. It was a confusing morning though and in the end I ended up visiting three supermarkets for not much over £10 worth of groceries. They were all fiarly close to my route though so the savings were justifiable.

I bought chewable jewelry (not surprisingly, it's called "chewelry" and I just learned that while shopping) for the youngest. The company recommended by our education assistant is in South Carolina, but I found a Canadian online shop that gets some of the items. Not as much option for colour, but probably a better price in the end because of shipping...

I also ordered a long-sleeved tunic for me, same brand I've been liking lately for summer clothes. In past winters, I was too warm and could just use sleeveless shirts all year long with a light sweater now and then. I seem to have swung back to being chilly more often (with hormones being the culprit here), so I'll try long sleeves again and see if I want to order more after that. (They have a cool Christmassy print I'd love to have, plus a few patterns and colours in my size.)

My mum wanted Christmas and birthday cards from the online bookseller she likes, so I put through that order last night. Since she gave me her order earlier in the week and I forgot until the weekend, I joked that she'd fire me someday from my volunteer job as her personal shopper.

I bought the cookery book my daughter wanted for Christmas but she's getting it for her birthday.

THe one thing on my list for was fresh chestnuts. They didn't have any??

I actually have them in the woods behind my house, but they are titchy, and a bit dull to eat. The spanish ones are bigger and tastier.

I bought a few books for an online friend: I bought their books via a website rather than from me personally.

I ordered some art materials last night.
