The mid week shop will be a bit larger today as the supermarkets will likely be closed on Sunday as it is Easter. Easter Sunday and Christmas Day if it falls on a Sunday are the only time supermarkets close on Sundays here.

The shops here are closed this Sunday too, but only because they want to be open on Monday so they had to pick one they cant have both.
today the online chemist had a sale so I got two new beanie hats (40% off) which are lightweight from bamboe and suitable for the warmer weather plus a tube of foot cream (70% off) ...

Portion containers for our meals.. that way it's easier during the week to just heat up the meals. Right now I put each item in a container and then portion it out every day, but we'll be eating later with my new work schedule, so this will save me some time during the week.
I'm going to try to get into the habit of making a large meal on Sundays to last most of the week.
A laptop, a docking station, a printer and a curvy 27 inch monitor.
...and that was Annie's purse emptied.
I have never sat in front of a curvy monitor, are you impressed by it?
I always use a curvy monitor Cherry, and I leave it to my husband to make the purchase so he would go for a curvy monitor. I am used to it. It's actually easier to look from side to side.

I did read up on it too. It was very positive, and apart from added cost, there seemed to be little downside that would affect me.

Thanks Cherry, for this information. My monitor is not huge, it's 34. My husband's is about 10 inches bigger. We don't play game, we only use them for work. The feature I like most about it is when I do pictures in picture so between my two laptops and this monitor, I can lay out my works in like 4-5 different screens at the same time, eliminating the need to print out hard copies. At the office, I have three 27" monitors and a laptop. I forgot to mention that all the monitors and laptop are all touch screen, I don't care for the glidepoint, touchpad or mouse.

I thought they only closed for the apocalypse?
No, that's when they have their bargain sell out sale
- Mother's day gift for MIL - Birthday gift for FIL - Birthday gift for stepson's fiancee - Gift for stepson's fiancee's parents
Do you know them all well enough to make a good choice?
Though if they are good people, they will simply appreciate, and enjoy the gesture.
Great question Cherry, I know my in-laws well enough but the problem is they get what they want and never wait to be gifted anything. My MIL likes exotic jewelries and my FIL likes clothes with certain textures.
About the fiancee, I gave her a Kate Spade handbag for christmas and I see that she carries it all the time from her FB page so I will get her a backpack this time:
