I gave that a big thumbs down. Art of any kind is a question of taste.
So they didn't like your poem but at least they tried.

My little brother worked in Las Vegas. He had a lovely house in the desert. Apparently they are not too expensive out of town.

Are the houses that you like affordable?

OMG, my husband and i visited 7 different builders in this community. Each time we looked at the price sheet, we were amazed, the prices are incredible. In California, this kind of property will cost at least 3.5 times as much. The pictures online don't do any justice, we thought they were just new constructions but they very impressive in person, the ceiling high is what I like most, they all he 12-14 feet ceiling in all areas. I will look for some pictures to post.

I'm grateful for a new dryer! It arrived last Thursday. I chose a washer/dryer pair, but the washer was on backorder, so we'll see when that gets to our area. No biggie, since one new appliance was enough to learn. (Although I picked something pretty simple...)

Getting to be napping on the sofa today: I needed to close my eyes.

Having had my heavenly daily shower.

Having had a sleep on my sofa this morning.
