what are you grateful for today?

I'm grateful for the gentleman that helped me pick up my yard waste barrel that was knocked over in the storms yesterday evening.

You wouldn't say that if you lived in a country with 300 days of rain and needed to dry the laundry !

I went to a gas station, I thought I would add gas to my car but the bank card did not go through so I left, I still had 146 miles left before my tank gets emptied. 5 minutes after I left the gas station, at the traffic light, people from the nearby cars came to tell me I left the gas cap off. I was very grateful.

When I came home, I called the bank card, they told me they put a weekly limit on my card, can't spend more than $5K. I will have a talk with our personal banker when we see her this week. Can you imagine if I am out at a restaurant and can't pay my bill?

I agreed Karen. 

Also, I was using my Debit Card and the account had enough funding to cover the transaction so I did not know why that happened.

I'm grateful for a rainy day, which makes a pleasant change and assures me that fall weather is on the way!

Annie, did you call your bank to question it?

I did Kare, they told me they could temporarily increase my limit if I need to spend more, so ridiculous.

I am grateful that I no longer work at that school starting from tomorrow.

Annie, good to hear. That school was definitely not a good fit for you. 

I was in a zoom meeting yesterday in my office and the sermon was broadcasted on the intercom for the entire campus to hear.
