And I'm very grateful I just got news that our city's water is good to go after a weekend boil notice. I have extra water now, but I'm sure I can use that up!

What with the news from France that the Seine is badly polluted as well, in a strange way it is reassuring that here in the UK we are not alone with our pollution problems.

It shouldn't happen anywhere though.

Im grateful for where I live. I was ironing yesterday and you tube threw up this video about Leeuwarden ( my home town for 25years) aand the surrounding area Alde Feanen is where I watch the spoonbills..

Seeing it through a newcomers eye renews the magic..
