Your English looks perfectly fine to me! I'm sure we'll know what you mean a majority of the time ;p

Hello there! I'm Tiney, 36, artist and writer from USA. Just had a major move to another state and adjusting to everything. Just trying to make new friends, find a friendly place and continuing at art.
For a while there really was only Karen and I about.
I remember that well and then Annie came on board. A few of the older members would also show up from time to time. And not to forget a few new members that posted quite often that just disappeared one day.

Welcome Tiney, artist and writer, very interesting. Do you write books or articles? It's certainly very friendly here and we are excited that you join us.

Thank you π
I never felt natural at writing articles and quickly dropped a dream of being a music journalist before college thankfully. Working on a book, but the foundation of it and main storylines is going up online and narrated later. I have a few published pieces in horror anthologies, as well as a charcoal piece accompanying one. Mostly working back at poetry and the speculative horror novel (but at the heart of the novel the main character grows and there's a natural style romance).
Wish I could easily pick up comic book style art but mine veers another direction. Art and poetry found on IG as SpoooookyTiney and KrisFreestone if curious. Dream of being like a female Clive Barker (write unique horror, create inside art and even covers...he now mostly sells his art these days).
Thanks Tiney, for sharing. Is there a class you can take for comic art? Writing, music and painting are also my hobbies, I just have not had enough time to work on them that much.

No problem π
Not in person, nah. The truly best instructional is the DC Comics Guide to Drawing and Writing Comics. I learned how to write comic book script very well, but didn't naturally take to the drawings. I gravitate to other things, might revisit comic book style, but I am evolving my art style lately it seems. I noticed tonight while I was using ink over a vague pencil sketch.
As the song says, too much time on my hands...
What sort of things do you write/paint? Jealous of music. I tried guitar and it was too much for me (bass guitar I was intermediate good a while back). What do you play?
