It's got to that time of year again when sleeping time is getting complicated as when I wake up, even at the normal time, it is still dark. With the weather this morning it was still quite dark when I woke at my normal time of 07:00. I could hardly read the clock.

My bedside clock has a very dull light, which is great at night, but in the morning if the light is not up, I have to get my specs to read it.
I broke up my last two hours before I went to bed last night. I watched an hour Poirot then read for an hour. That way I survive the TV program without falling asleep, like I often do with two hours
Earlyish is like when you have been knocked unconscious, then had sleeping tablets stuffed into you to the point of overdose, and then you don't wanna get up so you lie in like F O R E V E R........
Whatever time you call that, I call it earlyish.

I'm glad that I don't experience earlylish then...

I woke up at 12pm today. I had had an early night as well: I fell asleep at gone 10:20pm last night. I just slept and slept. BUT this doesn't seem like a problem for me. So if it ain't broke, why fix it?

Why fix it?
Because you are sleeping instead of living a full life like the rest of us. I honestly believe your gp has let you down badly over this. They are not infallible you know.
I have lectured GP's before, and I know that some of them were not the brightest, and worse than that, some of them happily demonstrated that out of date, or inaccurate knowledge, was better than anything I could teach them.
...and that was despite the fact that they had paid to listen to me. [picture a wtf emoji just here]

Well, last night I had a very poor sleep: I woke up four or five times throughout the night. I am now exhausted and need to go back to sleep. This isn't good because I am supposed to meet my sister for lunch.
I will have a lie down and hope I don't oversleep.
