I am sorry to hear that but at least you are all making the best of things. It's small consolation but his lack of pain is good. It sounds like he is making the best he can.
Thanks Jen, that surprised me as well. I have 2 other friends who have severe side effects from the chemo.
Chemo is nasty. A lot of people do not finish the course despite the word cancer hanging over them.
The side effects are really nasty, and they last for days. Some of them 'cording' last for years, without intense painful physio.
I had a friend who has since passed away that went through radiation and chemo. He never recovered and always said if he knew how bad it was going to be he would of not of had either. He would of rather just passed on without all the extra pain.
How awful, alsr. I am so sorry. If you ever want to talk, I'm here.
Thanks Paula, I am okay because my hubby looks and sounds okay, probably he is too busy with work and he has been living in a different state than his parents for almost 30 years now.
Andrea has now returned, and blood tests showed no heart attack, the xray showed nothing, and the ecg says she has a strong heart. With the history of cancer they were very investigative. We are now waiting for an appointment at a chest clinic for a further review as they have no idea what the problem is. Today, she is unwell, but minimal pain.

Costochondritis looks a possibility.
I am sorry I missed this Cherry but I am glad I got the good part. Definitely need more observation and probably a second opinion as well.

I have had my morning shower and put on a purple lipstick. It is NYX "Emotions" and it's gorgeous. NYX lipsticks are really nice if you're interested in purchasing a lipstick. They go on smoothly and last for ages. They don't dry out your lips, either.
Anyhow, I have put on a load of laundry and am waiting for two deliveries. They should arrive within a few hours from now.

I have done some work on my compter. I also watched a music DVD and ate my dinner slightly after midday. I've read two women's magazines today:
1. Woman & Home 2. Good Housekeeping
These magazines are far deeper than housekeeping or cooking: they deal with the environment, climate change, relationships [not just physical relationships: but parental and friendships], hobbies, health advice, fashion & makeup that a person can actually find in the shops, books and entertainment in general... you name it, these magazines have it.
I do think their titles put off liberated women because - well - of the magazine titles. BUT I have found Cosmo doesn't suit me anymore: it's about sex, career, cheating partners, fashion I am too old to wear, contents that just don't fit me anymore. But the above magazines do.
I have been reading magazines forever:
1. Just 17 2. Sugar 3. Cosmo Girl 4. Cosmopolitan 5. Glamour 6. Company 7. Marie Claire 8. Good Housekeeping 9. Woman & Home
I never normally buy magazines but I like interior design magazines when I'm at the dentist and last year my friend bought me a magazine membership for one year. It's to a magazine called landleven I guess this translates to life on the land and yes it's a countryside magazine.
Today I've done laundry laundry and laundry sheets jeans and whites . I've aired my bed ,changed the bed linen and the house , cleaned the bathroom, done some ironing and cooked for myself and my daughter as well as walking the dogs and shifting some wood with my husband.
