If there is a magazine laying around I will read it. But they are too broad to ever be value for money imo

My husband's favorite aunt passed away of cancer this morning, we thought we would see her one last time in a few weeks, this woman was one of the best companies I have ever met. I still remember our daily walk when we visited her in Atlanta 4 years ago.

Life is full of valuable memories. 

I try to bookmark them as they come along. It is so easy to forget them. 

Nice that you have some good ones of her.

That's so bad. He seems like one of the good guys too. 

Feels like cancer gets so many women I know. Since 2016, these gals have died from it: Staci (online friend), Heather (Mum's friend, then mine), my cousin Laura (at 42!)...

My good friend Maria is going through the process right now, and if I haven't mistaken her updates, it's terminal. Then tonight I read about one of Mum's other friends I've been writing regularly, and she got news that they got all the breast cancer but she still has some radiation to go through this summer.

Feels impossible to avoid the disease. If it's not cancer, it's something else. Good health is not to be expected!

Okay, that's a downer of a post, but it does make me cherish life and want to have a family that gets along well...

Not to dismiss the above posts, but I have been busy.

Work started this morning on my office room...
It's going to be redecorated in the nice neutral cream colour, but with the same beautiful solid wood floor we have in our living room.
I've already bought a new rug it's small but it's in the cream and earth tones that I have in my furniture.
Soon my little office will be a snug and beautiful place to sit once more.

Exciting... Sitting waiting for the storm. We are as ready as we will ever be.

Im shattered.... I got up just before 5 am showered and dressed walked the dogs , made a tea flask and some sandwiches and set off to Germany I have done an absolute shed load of shopping for myself and for one of the old ladies I look after and then driven home again.
Walked the dogs again, cooked dinner and tonight I am doing a web seminar about dog training....

I am waiting for my son and his girlfriend to arrive so we can go to dinner.

Yesterday was quiet. Today I visit mum. It's her birthday so I hope she is up ready to open presents

So far I am just sitting here watching the rain.
