The MRI went ok. But when the guy tried to put a halo on her head she freaked a bit. So he managed without and she did keep perfectly still.
Not that she expects anything to come of it.. She thinks her headaches are stress related work and the health issues with her OH but the doctor wanted to be sure.

Strangely coincidentally, I had my doctor's appointment this morning. It went well: it was just a general check-up. I've been asked to book an appointment for March. It'll be a face-to-face appointment, but that's no problem.
I put on a load of laundry and have been working online. I have also done some other general cleaning.
I finished reading The Two Towers aloud, since the old EA had that book in progress for the boys. I'm sure I'll be asked to start Return of the King soon, maybe even today.
Also did some prep for this week's report card meetings (which will be by phone).

The art group meeting went well yesterday. I have been painting an aeroplne but it has not turned out to be one of my best. I will get back to the natural world
It has been a busy week so far. Tomorrow is the second "final inspection" of our house. The city inspector and the contractor will be here again, my husband will point out everything he thinks is wrong with the house. It sounds like we are sabotaging ourselves but he wants to teach the contractors a lesson and send them back to correct their errors again.

100% behind your husband there. When you agreed the spec with the builders did you also agree for them to make errors? Of course not.
Good luck, and I hope he spots everything. You don't want to have to keep having them back again, when faults appear.
When we had double glazing fitted I went round with a cigarette paper, to ensure the windows were 100% sealed. You shouldn't be able to get the paper out once you have closed a window.
I found four or five that needed adjusting, and he fixed them.
I have two mucky pups...So its bath time... One down one to go I did George first hes a beagle and beagles are not known for their love of water but he did like the hairdryer on low afterwards... Now hes all cute and sweet smelling ( until his next walk) I will do Murphy after lunch he takes a lot longer to dry..
I also got some dental gel.. No brush needed just smeer it on with the applicator and the gel does the rest... great now will someone tell the dogs it isnt cyanide? It wont kill them it isnt radioactive and they can trust me..Becuase the way they reacted anyone would think it was all of the above and worse.

We have 4 different contractors working on the house and they point out each other's problems, the list is about a page long of 26 lines. He knows how I feel about having strangers in the house all the time so it gets to his nerves. He told them that until everything on that list is accomplished, whether the inspection will pass or not, the contractors will not see the final payment.
This morning I called the electric tea kettle, "the heaty water thing"... I could not remember the name of it until now, hours later LOL if that tells you how my day might be going. I'm TIRED!
I was on a call when my husband was talking to the inspector, I heard him say : Please do not pass this inspection and give me a list of everything that needs to be done. Scott, the instructor was laughing: this is unusual but do not worry, I will not pass anything. He even gave my husband a list of 8 bullet points. Before we went for a walk, he sent that list to the contractor's office, we are now waiting to see what kind of action they will take. We have our own people who can jump in and fix the problems immediately but I doubt if the contractor is willing to let that happens. They want the rest of the money and we are ready to tell them in 2 weeks, if this does not get done, to go ahead and sue us, we don't care.
Another "old person" car, the Avalon Hybrid. LOL It's being retired, so this is the last model year.
Avalon is a Toyota, isn't it? I remember it was one of a choice car not long ago. Toyota, Honda and Nissan are still the preferred cars in the Bay Area, CA.
The sun is now out here but I have hopefully done my hard work for the day - wash my car, tidy a few things in the garage and a little bit of gardening. Now it is time for pampering - wash my hair and generally relax.

Can I visit you in Florida, kjay?! I'd love to see where you live! I love nature/wildlife/animals: you name it. Because those alligators are incredible. You don't get those in the British Midlands!
I have been busy today, wandering around town and eating an Indian takeaway for dinner.
I am home now and am on the computer. I shall be busy on Sunday, too: I've got to do loads of cooking. But it is a way to spend time with family.
