Well apart from the usual laundry, phoning mum, walking dogs ect...Today is the last day of something called the Decemeber lights a street art intsallation using light and projection at various places around the town.
It should ( fingers crossed) be dry this evening and so my daughter and I will cycle the route and take photos.
Football Sunday and It's the last one of the regular season so it should be a late day. We change it up a little for the playoffs because there are gan=mes on Saturday and Sunday.

How is your team doing?
They have made the playoffs after one year of missing them so i am happy.
Do you have a legal requirement for winter wheels?
No. Apparently we've always had tread depth requirement of 3/16". I did a little research, because I know something recently changed. Here is what I have found:
There are many passes here in Colorado, but what irks me is that I-70 is mentioned, specifically. This is the highway used to access many of the ski resorts. God forbid that traffic to the ski resorts would be impacted! Many highway funds are diverted to I-70 (east/west) from other highways, namely I-25 (north/south) connecting Pueblo, Colorado Springs and Denver, which many people use for their daily commute to work.
I have all-seasons on the OEM wheels. I bought an extra set for the winter tires, as it's not good when they're constantly taken on and off the rims. I normally have the winter wheels on from around December 1st to around April 1st, but it has been unseasonably warm. Winter tires don't last very long when the temperature is consistently above 47°.
Funny that you should mention that. This week, I've been in contact with the dealership from which I purchased my car in 2017. At the time, one of the color options for the Camry (Ruby Flare Pearl) wasn't available for the model I purchased. Two years later, after a redesign, it was available for my model. Well, it appears that 2022 will be the last model year...it's being retired.
Now, my model is offered in another gorgeous red color! I saw it on a new Camry parked outside my dentist's office. It was dark at the time, so when I visited an office in the same building during daylight yesterday, I happened to park next to it in the shade. Now, I'm torn between Ruby Flare Pearl (which I always loved) or Supersonic Red (the new color)...decisions, decisions. From what I could determine in the shade, Supersonic Red is a non-metallic paint. I couldn't get much more information during internet searches.
I'm going to visit the local dealers' lots later today and try to compare the two in daylight. Dealers are closed Sundays due to the blue laws, so I won't be stalked by a salesman. Once I decide today, I'll email the dealer in Denver to get the order started.
I normally drive a car until it dies, but since I love it so much, I decided to buy a 2022, the last of its kind...then drive that one until it dies...or I do. LOL

I finally made my decision! I went to both dealers' lots, but their inventory doesn't match what's on their websites. I was unable to find a model (any model) in each color. After sifting through some YouTube video descriptions, I was able to determine the colors of the cars they were reviewing...some mentioned the color in the video, some didn't. They're very similar.
I've decided on my first love, Ruby Flare Pearl. It's also a better match to my desired interior color (more important IMO, since I will be looking at that more than the outside).
Well I thought I heard gunshots last night... There was a rapid bang bang bang outside and then the dog went crazy. I calmed him down and when I looked outside there was nothing except a young scooter rider who was brushing himself down and looking around in a bit of confusion.
Soon his mates turned up and after much milling about picking up of small objects from the road and discussions they all left..
This morning we looked at the camera images and they show that the young man went past our front door like a rocket. there is a small kink in the road at the corner which he missed completly he hit the kerb went somersaulting across the road and landed outside the house opposite where he picked up the scooter from its landing place which is when I saw him .
He is lucky to be alive, he had no helmet , no protective clothing not even a big coat just jeans and a sweater. I wonder if he will even realise how close to death he was, if a car had been coming, if he had hit his head on either kerb, been 6 inches to the right and hit the tree or flown a bit further and hit the neighbours garden wall it would have been game over... idiot.
I have a feeling that wasn't the first and it won't be the last.
Thanks Ladies, my godson called me the next day. He had Aspergillosis and is recuperating now.
Does he live in CA, Annie? Is that pretty common there? From what little I read, most people have no problems breathing in those mold spores, but your godson is immunocompromised, no?
I've lived in a semi-arid climate for so long, I don't remember the last time I've seen mold.

Crystal, he went to grad school in IN and got recruited by Ingersoll Rand in Dallas 5 years ago. A perfectly healthy young man when he was still in CA, even during his time in IN, but two years after moving to Dallas, health problems started to kick in. It's a terrible situation because his career was on the upside, he became the Senior Director of the Integration Analytics only two years before he found out he got cancer, he also has two young girls, 4 and 3. At least, his cancer is in remission now.

I finished reading The Two Towers aloud, since the old EA had that book in progress for the boys. I'm sure I'll be asked to start Return of the King soon, maybe even today.
Also did some prep for this week's report card meetings (which will be by phone).
I was in a meeting when my husband came home in the afternoon, he told me to come out. The roof and the fence were stained. I could not believe how fast those guys worked but I could understand, it is a small house. I will take picture once it's completely done. I really like what I have seen.

...And my boiler is fixed! I had a hot shower and it was heaven: I got to shave my arms and legs. I got to wash my hair. I got to wear clean clothing. I feel human again.
I have also cleaned my bathroom and my kitchen and am airing out my apartment. I now am sitting in an apartment full of lovely fresh air.
