I went out & about town with my sister today. I bought myself a gorgeous pair of earrings. I also helped cook dinner: we ate Chinese duck pancakes with noodles and orange sauce. I have to say it was rather delicious.
I was later driven home and am now back on the computer. It has been gorgeous weather here today, too.
It was one of those summer walks yesterday after the rains. One of those where you get a totally saturated lower half walking through the wet grass in the fields and drying out as you walk along less grown up areas before you get home. I met one other walker on my travels with similar experiences but it's interesting how devoid of walkers the more overgrown tracks are now lol

I have had my daily shower. I am listening to Madonna's album "Hard Candy". It has to be one of my favourite albums. I also gave myself a French manicure this morning. I am browsing the Internet too, as I do.
The weather is gorgeous and sunny. I have the windows open. Oh: I have drunk my cup of caffetterie coffee. I do like my morning coffee. It is my morning routine, along with my shower.
After our walk this morning I developed a splitting headache that wouldn't shift. It doesn't help when the meter reader turned up up-do with out a face mask and he stepped straight into the house getting right into my space ..I was so angry with him. I have put a complaint into the energy company he had no right to come in like that. The sad part is like so many people when I complained he said but I'm vaccinated as I explained to him that does not mean that he cannot give the virus to someone else my husband is still not vaccinated and he is a heart-lung patient..
This afternoon I have had a sleep in the chair and my headache seems to now be gone...

I am waiting for a delivery: I have ordered a new mattress. Yesterday I received my order of a metal bed frame.
I have been emailed by the mattress company that I must wear a face mask and keep a two metre distance when the delivery men arrive. I have also paid extra for them to remove the current mattress. I'd have no idea as to disposing of a mattress: and my housing association don't want a mattress sitting outside their properties. Plus, I have no car. That is why I paid an extra $30 to have them remove it.
I have put on a load of laundry. I am airing out my apartment*, too.
*Oh: I have decided I shall always live in an apartment. The reason is because if I lived in a house I'd be housebound. I'd hide in the house and would never go anywhere. With an apartment you can't do that. I need that push to keep my life from ending up like that. Plus, a house requires a LOT of work. It is a full-time job looking after a house. Hoovering 4 bedrooms would be a nightmare. I won't put myself through that.
I had a fairly quiet walk this morning, following a track which someone mentioned to me a few days ago. It was quiet and I came across no-one apart from in our village itself. This diid surprise me as it was cloudy, it didn't rain and it was warm. Mainly I was surprised as the track was a lot closer to an housing estate than where I normally walk and the grass had recently been cut.
Thursday and shopping day typhoid Mary was out in force people who thought because they've been vaccinated they no longer need to wear a mask silly fools. It's hot today so we decided to our walking routine on its head. We did the short walk this morning and this evening as the sun has started to set will go on a longer walk.
Quite a productive day really after walking the dogs and setting the washing going I tackled the garden or at least part of it I've been round all the hedge with the hedge trimmers and cut it back so that it looks neat and tidy and my garden looks a bit bigger too.
This afternoon OH and I hang up one of those clocks that you stick to the wall. It's nothing fancy but it makes a nice focal point in a blank bit of wall the end of the hall.
