Cherry, is that usual behavior for him? I din't think that he would be like that.
Does anyone boast that theirs is a delinquent?
My neighbour told me for years that I should get a puppy that way I would have the perfect dog and not delinquents that I kept rescuing who were actually perfectly well behaved dogs who were allowed off the lead and they were socially interactive with everyone around them. So I bought puppy from a very nice breeder, all the other dogs in the litter seem to be okay but mine is a complete basket case. He is nervous and those nerves turn to aggression so people who come jogging up behind him or cyclists who come up quickly behind him and don't give warning could get bitten if he was off the lead, dogs he doesn't know that approach him will get snapped at and he barks at anything that goes past the house. Apart from that he's an absolutely gorgeous dog ,he is soppy, protective, loving, he doesn't snatch ,he doesn't misbehave in any other way but around other people he is just a complete nut job. I can't even say he's a juvenile delinquent he will be eight this year.
We tried training classes but they didnt help much.

Today is a catch-up day: laundry, kitchen clean-up, and grocery shopping. These are usually Sunday activities, but I spent a bunch of the day with my dad for Father's Day. Time well spent!
I am going over the list of donated items today, there will be an auction to fundraise for the school. The appraisers were there to appraise and certify these items. Among these items are a $25000 armoire, a $13000 painting, a $60000 ring.....the fundraising event's proceed with go toward tuition assistance and campus expansion.
I have managed to find time with my flight simulator over the past few days, which I haven't used for a month or more. It takes a bit of setting up with the controls each time so I need to plan a bit. On Friday afternoon I flew my Czech Cold War jet trainer from RAF Cranwell (Lincolnshire) to Biggin Hill (South of London - now a civilian airport) and yesterday, back again. I wanted to get used to the radio compass for navigation on a route I was fairly familiar with which didn't take too long (less than an hour each way including take off and landing). It's a bit more challenging these days as I have real weather set (data downloaded from the internet) so, particularly, on Friday it was tricky as there were Lightning storms about. A big black rainy cloud over London as I my my descent just prior to landing so wind, fog and driving rain with no visibility for what seemed like an age. I'm glad I am getting familiar with instrument flying. With this aeroplane being Warsaw Pact the instruments are metric - height in metres and velocity in Km/h and all the instrument labelling is in Russian. Luckily though the essential instruments are fairly similar across the world.
If anyone is interested here is a video of a training flight in a real one. Those who like roller coasters may like this. It gives a better sense of reality to me than most :

We have both got back into our work routine again. Sophia will be at her workplace by now, having left home about half-an-hour ago.
My first client is due at 9.30am. I don't actually regard what I do as 'work' though. It is just so much fun because I always get a happy smiling person at the end of it

That sounds like fun Jen.
We watch a lot of aircraft accident investigation programmes where flight deck controls are mentioned. The whole array of controls and instruments are mind-boggling.
I imagine that a flight simulator must be pretty lifelike and true to a real cockpit layout.

I got my parcels dropped off, and remembered I am planning a surprise picnic for Friday, so nipped out and bought cheese, piccalilli, and some bread. I know, but it's what the so likes. I will be having pate on mine.

My day has been great.
I don't need to do anything special to get me back into my work frame of mind - I am just doing what I love.
I have prepared the sandwiches and ingredients for our evening meal. The soup-maker will take care of the rest, ready for Sophia getting home from work.
Then we will be watching the Lord of the Rings trilogy on DVD whilst we eat

The meal was so welcome honey, thank you
We have just finished watching the first in the trilogy of Lord of the Rings, which is The Fellowship of the Ring.
We will watch the other two another time.

Yesterday turned out to be a nice day and the washing dried well I got out for a walk too. It's nice out in the countryside now it's less of a swamp. After a nice cooked lunch I sorted a few things in the house and garden. The afternoon whizzed by, as usual and it was soon time for supper and relax before bed.
Shopping day again for me Thursdays come round ever so quickly..
I just dislike the whole trudge up to town and the jostle of the shops to be honest Id much rather stay home and help with more concreting.. But OH says he wants to eat next week so I have to shop!

Food shopping is definitely a chore
We have shopped online a few times and had home deliveries direct from the supermarket.
Our favourite method is to use Shop-and-scan. It was actually during the COVID-19 Lockdown when we got introduced to that method of shopping. We had gone shopping at a local Sainsbury's supermarket, joining an enormously long queue to get in. A store assistant was outside with the scanning handsets and asked if we would like to try one. As we had never done it before we took one. We have never looked back.
It is so much easier just scanning an item and putting it straight into your shopping bags then paying at the dedicated section. Gone are the days of queuing at a till and having to unload your trolley, load it again before payment then pack it all into your own bags at the car.

He's a fussy one isn't he?
But, put me down for shopping before concreting.
I actually don't mind food shopping. My ex used to do it all, so I don't maybe have as much history of it as some of you.

I don't tend to use the big supermarkets much so haven't tried these. You just scan the items, put them in your trolley, and pay what is on the scanner? You don't show them at checkouts? How do they know you have scanned everything?

Sorry. I should have explained that a bit better
Once you have completed your shopping there is an area next to the main checkouts that is basically a set of payment machines. There is a store assistant hanging about if you need any help. You scan a barcode on the screen with your handset then your scanned items are downloaded to the machine and the total displayed. Then you choose a payment option.
This system can be open to abuse though. Anyone could place an item in their shopping bag without scanning it, however, supermarkets can do spot-checks on your purchases to see that everything tallies.
Items that have security tags on them; e.g. meat, alcohol, clothes, etc., set off a red light on the till so an assistant comes over to remove the tag. Once you have finished your purchase you still have to leave through a detector machine so it is not worth it to try to be naughty.
