I had a very refreshing shower. I also put on a load of laundry.

Just another day.

The trouble with the summerhouse. It obscures the woody part of our garden, and the woods themselves.

That is why we are thinking of knocking it flat.

I'm just browsing the Internet and posting onto my favourite sites.

Way less smoke in the sky! Woo hoo! Still exercised indoors today, out of caution and habit.

A nice hike through the woods this morning then I'm open for the rest of the day. I'll play it be ear.

Oh no! I hope it is fixed quickly.

I just fitted a grass carpet on our block paving in the back garden. It looks so much nicer.

We just came back from dinner with my nephew and his housemates. It's very unusual that all three have mothers who are dentist. I asked them if they were inspired by their mom or their mom made them go to dental school. They told me they thought it was harder to be an engineer ( all three have engineer dad) so they would rather be a dentist.

There is a 3 metre perimeter around the back of our house of block paving. We don't like it much. That is what we have covered. So it was already flat, and solid.

You should've seen my Nan's house in Sweden when I was a kid: it was gorgeous. The garden had a mini mountain and steep footpath on each side. There were an abundance of plants and flowers. My Nan had an indoor porch, too. Inside the house was amazing. It was clean and had this fresh smell about it. My Nan also had a cellar, where we'd watch "The Scarlet Pimpernel" [with Jane Seymour in from 1982] on VHS tape.

I recall the smells of my Nan's garden after the rain. There was another large porch at the back. I used to love standing on it and viewing the woods in the background.

It is no wonder I love Sweden - and my Nan - so much. I do miss those days: they were the days of my young life.
