This is how I had my bathroom upgraded:

1. Had the bathroom floor replaced

2. Cleaned the shower curtain

3. Had my toilet seat replaced with a funkily designed loo seat

4. Had my bathroom repainted

5. Regularly clean my bathroom

My bathroom looks fabulous! I use it daily, as I shower every morning. And - I must say - it is small but functional and now funky.

I'd advise you get your bathroom madeover!

I revamped my bathroom a few years ago the secret to not having to rebuild is to start with good basics.
If you start by choosing a neutral suite and tiles it won't go out of fashion and look old. White might be boring but you can jazz it up with all manner of accessories and change these whenever the mood takes you.

One time, when I was still dating my husband, I did not like the color of his front doors so he let me paint them any way I liked. I made such a terrible mess. He did not do anything with it until we got married and he sold the house, he then hired a painter to repaint the door.

I have to pretty much squat when rinsing my face and such, but if it was higher, then I'd be able to lean forward with just slightly bent knees... and that would be preferable lol

HaHa, you reminded me of our bathroom mirror. It was put up when the children were at home and somewhat smaller than they are now so it is fairly low. I suppose we naturally stoop to use it and never think about moving it higher
