NETFLIX has a new series “Ancient Apocalypse”. The series is led by Graham Hancock.
In the scientific community, Hancock doesn’t have a sterling reputation, I mean he has appeared on “Ancient Aliens” and such. But this series is provocative I think and more plausible than visiting extra-terrestrials. If nothing else, the series is professionally photographed. So NUTS to his detractors.
PS. Hancock doesn’t call himself a scientist, just an investigative journalist if that matters to you.
PPS. I pronounce the word “controversy” as CON-tro-ver-sy and not con-TROV-er-sy. Listen for that line.
Those type of shows are more for fun than complete seriousness anyway.
I ended up with a Roku TV when I needed to replace my last TV, whose sound was going. I have the NASA app added on the TV, so I'm watching NASA TV tonight. We sometimes remember to have it on during the day to see what view there is from the ISS.
Been enjoying classic tv shows and stuff on several different online services. It's been comforting being able to find things that are pg and clean. No surprises. Just good clean fun.

"Cabinet of Curiosities". the title intrigued me, the first 60-seconds didn't.
Speaking of really old sitcoms, I tried a couple episodes of "Cheers". Oddly, the spin-off "Frazier" is much superior. "Cheers" itself, turns out I didn't like it.

Cheers was really good, but didn't stand the test of time as Frazier has.

We've always enjoyed Frasier. I told hubby that it spun off from Cheers. Hubby had never seen Cheers, so we binge-watched it. The whole Sam & Diane dynamic became tiresome. I guess, it was different "back in the day," when we had to wait a week between episodes.

The Sam and Rebecca dynamic was more interesting.......

I finished the first season of The Waltons! Yay!
I have 15 more episodes of the original Star Trek, and then I will for sure have watched all of them since I first got interested in Trek. (It's just taken many years to get to that since I was busy with other Trek series and movies and books...)
Almost time to start a bunch of Christmas movies, though, and I'll get back to Trek watching in the New Year, probably.
