We watched A Trip to the Moon today. www.imdb.com/title/tt0000417/ Definitely not the sci-fi I'm used to seeing! (We'd seen it once before, but I may have understood it better this time. Maybe? It's a bit odd!)
I'm quite happy I discovered a free channel on our cable system that has 100s of old and current shows from the UK. My darn telly has barely left that channel in the past week.
i started watching blindspot on hulu. it's about this chick that turns up naked in a bag on the sidewalk in ny covered in tats with her memory erased and an fbi agent's name tatooed on her back. she's a map of clues. so far it's pretty good.

Maybe I'll check that out one day, as I do have Hulu.
Kind of reminds me of an older movie concept.. but he didn't have tattoos, just wrote things down lol

Reminds me of an old sci fi film. The Tattooed Man.
I have just finished watching Jimmy Savile, a british horror, on Netflix.
It is a remarkable story, and very engrossing. How could a man so evil been friends with the royal family, Cardinal Hume, the prime minister, and even had a special audience with the pope? He was given the highest honour in the uk, a knighthood.
400 complainants, and he was never prosecuted. The complaints were ignored or brushed aside from 1955, and he died without a blemish against his name in 2011.
He is reckoned to be the worst paedophile in british history.

One great TV show [on DVD] to check out is "Tru Calling" starring Eliza Dushku: it's seriously good.
It is about a graduated student who gets work as a morgue attendant. Instead of burying the dead [so to speak] she prevents them from dying in the first place. She does this by re-living days. There are all kinds of twists, but it is an excellent show. I've watched it several times over the years. It was released in 2003. I also think Eliza does the character justice: she's rather good at acting.
Again, a TV programme worth watching on DVD.

If you are in America Paramount+ if you are outside of American nowhere yet. They are working in broadcast deals in the UK and the rest of the world.
Here in Canada, our options are either Crave or CTV Sci Fi. I actually didn't consider until now whether a Canadian would subscribe to Paramount+ and get the same content...
I enjoyed the episode as well. Looking forward to the season and having a different series to enjoy!
Also liked most of the Picard episode - the overall plot for the season gets a so-so vote, but there were fun/great moments all along. The one that will stick in my mind for now as best? Wesley's recruitment moment.

This was what I had feared... The rest of us are going to be kept waiting.
We really liked Picard. And we were hoping that this new series would be a new start for the Star Trek Saga but it seems we are going to have to be patient.

I was considering dropping NETFLIX but there may be some changes coming...
There is a saying; “Go woke, go broke”.
Or, as Trump more aptly put it; “Everything woke turns to sh_t”
Well apparently NETFLIX shareholders found out the hard way. Comedian David Chappelle being attacked on stage was the final straw perhaps although the NETFLIX stock crash may have been a clue too. In deep sh_t!
So the company, NETFLIX, has released a corporate memo to employees. Basically, if you don’t like diverse entertainment, go work someplace else. As a NETFLIX employee you don’t get to decide what people should see, the audience decides.
Oh and by the way, that woke employee who organized the “employee walk-out” over David Chappelle, he has been fired.
If I were a majority shareholder, I’d fire the whole board of directors.
