I am looking for a place to walk tomorrow. Somewhere where there are things to look at and places to rest if needed. I am thinking about somewhere close to home, and the place to rest is:
It has been a relatively easy day today for me except the Ukraine news. I could barely slept last night. I kept refreshing the news to see what happened there, I kept thinking about the people of Ukraine, how brave and courageous they are, the kind of leadership they have, I feel for all of them. I did not feel this way about Afghanistan but somehow Ukraine really gets to me, probably because I got to know the country from our visit to Kyiv in 2017.
We got our 90min walk at 11am, came home for lunch, took a shower, went to visit a property then shopped for grocery. We have been watching the Gonzaga vs St Mary's game. St Mary's ( also my mom's alma mater) is now 8 points ahead with a little over 2 min left. I am rooting for them.
It's the usual shopping with me this morning. I too keep thinking of the Ukraine. How different it must be there now and how similar it probably was just a week ago. Things could change like that aywhere
What Is Life Admin? Emens calls life admin “the office work of life.” It's the kind of work an office manager or administrative assistant would do at an office, but you do it yourself because it's for your own life and household, and most people can't afford personal assistants to take care of this stuff for them
Yes, it's all that stuff, I spend time avoiding.
Once a month, I do a finance review, but even that can be skipped occasionally.
I actually don't have time for " life admin". If I run out of food or favorite things to eat, I will go shopping, washing bedding twice a week is a must, I don't care about balancing checkbook or write diaries, I have no time for that. The little time I have, I prefer to stretch out in front of the TV watching something with hubby or go out to eat at a new restaurant, with hubby of course.
Update: The living room is as clean as it's gonna get for now. I vacuumed and got the rest of my clutter gathered up to take out. I need to find someone to help me get this broken recliner out on the lawn next spring. If no one picks it up, I'll call to have it taken by the trash dept. Costs $50 for that. I'll just move the couch up closer to the tv like I had it before. So at least that is out of the way. I started on some kitchen decluttering since I had to get to the vacuum cleaner. LOL!
We will get together with friends for dinner tonight before leaving tomorrow.
We will go shopping for toys. Every year, our offices have a christmas tree in the lobby with children's wishes for xmas gifts, this year we each picked out 10, so we have 10 girls and 10 boys to get gifts for. We probably will have 2 families from the shelters over for xmas lunch. No kids at home for xmas this year so we will leave for Los Angeles right after that lunch.

I decorated a little on Saturday, and did a bit of grocery shopping on Sunday. I was able to help my parents, too, since I spied someone else buying iceberg lettuce and my mum had asked me to keep an eye out for some. Whend I delivered it to my parents' house, that resulted in lots of chat time with my parents.

I only bought an iceberg lettuce the other day too. The first for a while but they are generally readily available here.
I got organised this morning and after feeding an old chair, in pieces, to the wheely bin I got on and visited one of my aunties. I usually visit her just before Christmas to exchange presents and family news.
