About me, I did not get that house. Someone outbid us by almost $500K, yes, you read that right.

We will move everything into the storage this Thursday, live in one of my parents' houses until 8/15, then we will be moving into the University housing. We would not move into the house I thought we would get, we will be in a 5000 sft house, over 1000sft more than the other house, so much space, so little use!

And house hunting continues.

Annie, with me it was the passing hurricane / tropical storm. We had to bring all our lanai furniture and plants. Then tie down some of our other plans that we couldn't move. Then having to undo everything we had done and get everything back to normal once the storm passed. Busy, busy, busy...

It should go through next friday. On monday, we are going back to spend our last two nights in that house, and on thursday, we will return with a van, and collect the last of our stuff.

I am not settled yet Ladies, unfortunately. We decided to buy this house from my employer since we got a 10% discount and we like the area, but the search for a perfect one-story house continues. I will send some pics tomorrow.
