We don't have any usa cheeses here. It is mostly french or uk.
I like provolone, havarti, and gouda as some of my top ones.
One has the name of "American cheese" that I never really liked. Although, it's usually the overly processed ones I have tasted. I have not tried different versions that might be less processed, if they exist lol
Official languge; Dutch The Netherlands; offical name..
But if you come from Holland thats the place most people know (Province in which Amsterdam is situated North Holland) you might be known as een Kaas kop. A cheese head..
When talking cheese, Kaas or tsiis as its known here... We put extra belegan on bread ( medium mature) love local cheese from the Deelen where we can see the cows ,with nuts or herbs its great then theres overjarig ( 18 months mature) for the nibbles with wine or beer.. Although German bierkaze is great for this too..
Goat cheese OMG just soooo good, really I love cheese but not the blue stuff... Gives me the heebie jeebies eating mold
Plus we make our own. Theres a bio milk tap nearby we can see the cows in the field when we pull up, we boil the milk to pasturise it and make our own semi soft cheese.
I had a patient that was paralysed after a horse accident. He had no feeling in his legs or feet. He always has ingrowing toenails, and they were really difficult to treat. The problem was that when you did something that would normally cause a little pain, he would kick, even though he felt nothing..
I offered him a local anaesthetic, but he said it had been tried and made no difference.
Music is a wonderful thing and often much underestimated. The pain relief factor has also been proved among dental patients. If you read musicopilia by Dr Oliver Sacks he talks of music being useful to Parkinson's patients in order to ease the stress of the brain and reduce tremor.

A guy I knew in psychiatry used to take a walkman to the dentist and self hypnotise with music instead of an injection.
Psyche staf are all nutters, give me lots of painkilling, please!

I sing inside my head at the dentist I hate dentists with a passion. But I will admit I avoid the pain killing injections as much as possible last year I had root canal treatment without anaesthetic believe me the anaesthetic is worse than the drilling.

The American 2015 Women's World championship team was beaten by a boy's 15 and younger team.
During the past 2016 Olympic Games, about 80 men participated in the 200-meter dash. Only 5 of the 80 did not beat the women's world record of 21.34 seconds. It was noted though that runners finishing last in qualification heats may coast often loosing a half second or more at the finish.
I can think of three sports where women might be competitive with men; sailing, horseback riding and archery.
I think Joe Biden knows there are differences between women and men, intuitively anyway. He certainly treats little girls and women differently that he does men.

I think it is fair to say the previous president did also.
I don't know why he wasn't prosecuted. Does anyone?
Not sure how the way men treat girls or women differently than men has anything to do with what girls/women are capable of accomplishing... nor is it indicative of whether they can fairly compete against boys/men.
Many people will always view women as "softer" in every way regardless.

There is no doubt that we are very different in fundamental ways, and sport is not really a useful indicator.
I had a scary episode in the middle of the night with my heart. I woke up with it beating really fast in a rhythm that felt foreign to me, but it was at least steady instead of erratic. I think it made it to 120 bpm or so at most. Of course, I thought the worst, and I went into a full-blown panic and almost wanted to rush to the hospital because it was not going down for about 20 minutes. I do get worried I'm going to end up with a thyroid storm because I have been lowering my dosage, but thankfully I did not have symptoms to coincide. I also am afraid of atrial fibrillation coming about because of my thyroid issues.
However, I did some reading, and I might have experienced a nocturnal panic attack. I read that if it was something with my heart (such as SVT or afib) that it would likely stop (return to normal) just as abruptly as it starts or be irregular, but that if it's a panic attack, then it would be a more gradual reduction and the beat would remain consistent. Mine did seem to slowly go down instead of just like the snap of the fingers as well.
I do know I have been experiencing more stress and anxiety. Sometimes I even get this adrenaline rush feeling that I can't shake for a while. It could be my thyroid, as these are symptoms of going more hyper again.
I am thinking of maybe buying a personal EKG device so I can catch any weird episodes in the act and show it to my doctor. That might at least help me determine if it is indeed my heart or something else. I am researching them, so we'll see what I end up getting.

I hope all is well now Heather. That is certainly a scary experience and i would definitely. check with my doctor to make sure what is going on. Sending hugs...
