I guess it would be good to bring a little bit of toilet paper if you have to pee outside that day lol men have it easier in that regard without as much mess. And a sandwich bag for the trash afterward lol

Exactly Heather, that is what I do. I still try to avoid it though. I'll hold on as long as I can.
The pollens must be annoying for those with allergic tendencies. Makes me thankful that we don't have that much pollens here, and I've never had allergies.
I have to say when I cut my hedge with the electric trimmers (hedera) it really makes me cough and sneeze Ive found wearing a mask during the trimming reduces that coughing to a minimum. So now I look like the guy from the horror movies every time I do the garden.
The main time I sneeze is when I submerge my head in a bowl of water when rinsing my hair. Water gets up my nose and I sneeeze twice. I used to sneeze three times at normal times too but I think it is oftens just once now. Luckily I am not heavily affected by pollen as we get lots.

I often sneeze just after, if I don't talk during a meal. Then I have to blow my nose.

kjay did the mask help to reduce sneezing?
It did and does but when i am out it is too hot to continue to wear it so i will usually put up with a sneeze of two or three. That usually occurs more often when i get back home for some reason.
I sneeze when I eat dark chocolate... the first bite usually lol but then if I take a break between bites, then I will sneeze again.... It doesn't stop me, even if it hurts my back xD It's the only time I will be a glutton for punishment.

You remind me of when I cook with dried chilli peppers. They make me cough. It's perhaps the capsaicin. I am Ok eating them but the fumes when cooking get to me.

Oh yes, I have some spicy seasoning mixes that make me cough any time I use them, plus it makes my eyes water and sometimes they burn. It seems maybe there's finer powder in it that wafts up. I even lean back to try to avoid it while pouring some out, but it still always gets me. My cayenne never does this, though lol
My doctor - obviously - knows all about medical matters. She can read such journals and understand every word. I guess, though, if she didn't she wouldn't last very long as a doctor. Still, medical knowledge does save lives. And being a doctor is a very important job. I do also know that doctors have to work at hospitals for a number of years before being able to become a General Practitioner.
In fact, I got a Human Biology qualification years ago: I hated it. I completed it - and I did all the exams - but I knew I would never work in healthcare. I would not do such a course again. I guess that's why I finished the course: so I'd never have to repeat another year of it. No: I am an artist, a writer, a designer. I am not a doctor.
You know what I find these kinds of reports very damaging , because by the time they reach mainsteam media they will have been simplified for the average idiot to understand and the conclusion will be that if you have Alzhiemer or any other dementia you must be a drunk.
Of course there is Korsakoff syndrome which is related to drinking. But then again theres Kuru and that has all to do with drinking but a cause much darker!
Seriously this gives those less educated the oppertunity to place blame where there should be understanding and shame where there should be sympathy.

Probably right. You can say that about every scientific finding. The less educated always twist things to make connections in a direction nobody was getting at; it's what they're good at lol
Alcohol abuse can increase the risk of dementia, so I do think it's important for alcoholics to know this, but they probably won't get the memo. My dad was an alcoholic for a long time, and he has returned to drinking heavily on weekends, so I wonder if he'll run into this issue.
