Being able to prove it on this level will make for better treatments in the future, I think. Otherwise, people were told it's just in their head and to deal with it!
It is a shame but Mark Twain was right...to maintain health, eat what you don't want, drink what you don't like and do what you'd rather not.
Whole milk is utterly repulsive. The way it leaves that rime all round the inside of your mouth? ewwwwwwwwwwww
I usually have semi-skimmed on my cereals but do have whole if it is on offer or reduced. I never have skimmed as I think it is even thinner than water and twice as tasteless. I have moved back a bit to dairy products, such as butter, as margarine seems to be just a chemical product produced from whatever oils are cheapest of the moment. Palm oil these days.
I prefer whole milk, but I don't like to drink milk by itself ever. I don't like it enough for that lol my dad will drink an entire cup just for the heck of it.

Appearance and texture can turn some people off. I hated steamed spinach as a child. Now it is one of my favorite sides. Could be the cook too perhaps.

Spinach and mushroom seem to be the only veg I dont eat.
Milk these days is the lactose free variety and I steer clear of all zero fat products because of the additives used to replace the fat and boost the flavour..
Best dairy? Home made cheese and yogurt made from whole raw milk we get from a nearby biological farm ..
I used to dislike spinach, and still avoid it every time I can. I hated papaya, but now I eat it every day to help with my constipation.
The things we do for health lol
I often eat spinach but never cook it as I don't like the soggy mess. I find that grapes help the same as your papaya. I love them and usually have some daily but I have to be careful not to overdo it lol
I never disliked spinach. However, I liked the Popeye movie when I was a kid, so my parents encouraged spinach eating with that lol so I could be strong like Popeye xD I guess it worked. Now I even eat spinach salads instead of it only cooked.
Oranges do but, with the acid in them, it's best not to have too many. I used to have one daily but my dentist advised against it.
You got me curious. I looked it uo, and there is little difference between grapes and oranges in ph
"Apples, oranges, grapes and cranberries are all moderately acidic. Cranberry juice is the most acidic, with an approximate pH value of 2.3 to 2.5. Grape juice has a pH of 3.3; apple juice has an approximate pH value of between 3.35 and 4; the pH of orange juice ranges from 3.3 to 4.2."
I suppose it is all about volume.

Healthy eating is hard. I find myself preparing the same series of meals about every week. I try to be creative sometimes but my shopping list doesn't change that much. I'm not the best cook either and that doesn't help.
My point, eating variety is healthy but hard to do.

I often remember a clerk I had when I was young saying "It's time they invented a new animal!"

That's interesting. I don't mind oranges and grapes, but good quality oranges and grapes are not available in markets nearby. Apples too. Papayas are relatively cheaper here, and I feel the benefit without having to take too much. They make great variations if I'm tired of papaya, though. xD
Eating sometimes becomes a chore, especially if you cook. My mom complains about running out of menu ideas every day, and it's not easy to come up with something new that the whole house can enjoy, so we're just circling around the same stuff lol.

Indonesia is great, we haven't as I recall had an indonesian before.
I love worldwide forums for this. We get to share our different perspectives, which have all been influenced by the culture we have been brought up in.
We are mostly usa and uk here these days. Also some canada and dutch. We could do with some more asians

Thank you! Exactly why I can never leave forums/online communities, kinda feel like traveling in a sense.

I also live in England!
Anyhow, I drink a big glass of milk every evening. I also eat spinach. In fact, I eat most foods. I am not afraid of food or of enjoying my food. I also do a lot of cooking [with my sister]. We've made many Chinese dishes. Writing of Chinese food: I ate a Chinese takeaway today. It was delicious. I LOVE noodles.
