I remember Fanta! It came in a lot of different flavors...grape, strawberry, cherry, orange, lemon-lime are what come to mind. I haven't had it in ages...not since the cans looked like this: www.worthpoint.com/worthopedia/different-fanta-soda-cans-503760920. From what I can see, there are a host of other flavors now.

I remember when I was a teenager or young adult (can't remember exacts), commercials for Fanta started coming out with a catchy song... I thought it was a new drink at the time lol I guess it was just rebranding. I was never a fan of dyes because I used to have allergic reactions to them as a child, so that's probably why I never tried them.

I love adverts, heatherly.

That seems strange, but I find them entertaining and an interesting distraction.

Anyhow, there are so many brilliant advertisements out there. And it DOES take intelligence and skill to design them. Adverts are much better these days, too!

I am glad I haven't got it as I would be tempted to try it just to see if it was edible lol. That's one reason why I don't buy ancient vintage wine at a huge price (obviously not the main reason

I have to admit some ads are well thought out and entertaining but others are just terrible. Some i can't even figure what they are advertising.

They are not saying women are incapable of these things. They may have different reasons than some of the men, though. We don't want to assume and paint everyone with the same brush.. we have to fully understand why so many different types of people would follow someone like Hitler.

It really was a case of cult of personality/leadership more than anything. "I alone can save you" type of propaganda that some politicians still use today. A lot of people struggle in life, so I think a lot of people want to hear that and fall for it.

I wrote a poem about my hometown: it is a pretty high standard.

I wrote it because historical issues interest me. I also love writing biographies in poem form. I wrote about Albert Einstein/Julia Roberts/George Michael/U2/Manic Street Preachers/witches: you name it.

I love learning new things and putting them into my poetry.

When I lived in a small hamlet, some years ago, there was a dig not far from us. When it was finished they displayed all the finds next to the dig. My kids were desperate to go round.

They were so disappointed at the complete and utter lack of complete trex skeletons. In truth, it was mostly sea shells, bits of stick, and broken stone utensils.

Needless to say they are al adults now, and have nil interest in history.
