I think you may be underestimating the intelligence of the general public. Unwanted pregnancies today are so easily preventable. A sex Ed class can't replace the family. (Some subsets of the population are actually in decline.)

Don't sell proper grammar short. It is necessary for clarity in verbal communication, the purpose of language after all.

Spoken grammar is not an issue. People learn that through exchanging speech with others, and knowing the definition of an apostrophe makes no difference in speech.

Humor is most often intentional, satire always so. Thanks for noticing P&C.



Discipline begins at home.

A girl taught to be proficient academically doesn't need a course in sex Ed to prevent an unwanted pregnancy.

None are so deaf as those who refuse to listen.

That's why schools need to focus on academics.

The New Forest

The New Forest dates back to the time of William the Conqueror in 1066.

In 1079 he designated the area Nova Foresta (New Forest) intended for his use of hunting ‘beasts of the chase’ (primarily deer and wild boar).

Rather than me lapse into creating a Novella to explain its history, there is a very good, and detailed, historic reference to the New Forest on a website called the Real New Forest Guide.

It is well worth checking out the link when you have a bit of time to spare. It gives everything you need to know about the area, from the flora and fauna, to the reptiles, to the New Forest Ponies, and much much more.
