I am hooked on everything to do with the American Civil War thanks to my dad. Whenever I have a chance i love the explore the battlefields, especially Gettysburg.
Then you should subscribe to PBS. That's where I got all the American Civil War fixes from and more. Carnegie and Rockfellers is another one I like

I am interested in ancient Greece and Greek mythology. It is such a fascinating subject. I have read ths stories of Greek mythology: they are amazing and thoroughly enjoyable to read. Reading the stories of Pan and Zeus I enjoy. The writers were incredibly talented: even back in ancient Greece. AND I've also travelled to Greece. It is a gorgeous, hot and beautiful country. Greece has such history and holds such fascination for me.
All the Greek gods and goddesses lead such amazing adventures in the stories. I shall read a book I have again, after I finish reading my library books.
I have been more interested in Egyptian history as, quite a while back now, I did a small painting of Anubis and needed to do research to get the hyeroglyphics correct on the painting. It's an interesting language although not everyday enough for me to learn and remember. The ancient Egyptian mathematics is interesting too as they didn't use decimals at all just fractions.
Since I have traveled to Mexico and Central America many times I have toured so many Mayan archeological sites. I am fascinated with the culture and actually have two legal artifacts, a plate and a cup. I will have to post some pics I have taken there.

That sounds good. I would like to travel around some of those places too. I have an interesting book that I picked up as reference for my artwork in a charity bookshop. It was printed over in the US and shows various decoration, mainly on pottery. I sketched a few some while back. These are some I have shown elsewhere. The colouring is my addition as the book is black / white. It is specific to a culture but it's buried somewhere lol, so I would have to find it to give any details.

I also love ancient Egyptian studies. Their society was amazing. I'd love to visit ancient Egypt in a time machine. But there are so many stories and TV programmes, it all comes to life: even today.
AND I definitely want to travel to Africa: not just to Egypt, but also to South Africa. I have seen Africa on TV: and it's gorgeous there. I love the people, the wildlife, the landscape... Africa is on my bucket list. Oh: and I am very interested in seeing the rainforests. It is my dream to wander in an African rainforest.
I imagine, too, a tarantula wandering along the African landscape, searching for a home on its travels. And there is no one to kill it. It just walks and walks, mile after mile, knowing it has a destination on its journey.
" The modern royal family consists of a monarch and three generations of direct heirs –Elizabeth II, Prince Charles, Prince William and Prince George – who get along and have little chance of being involved in medieval-style family intrigue."
Pictures I took a couple of years ago in a mayan site in Belize. WWe had to travel over an hour by boat back into the jungle to get there. imgur.com/bzr8b3w imgur.com/G83ukMv

A few years ago I visited "Serpents Mound" and earthwork in Ohio. The actual skeletal and even some weaponry recovered items were replaced with cardboard simulations.
The mound was still impressive but I think it would have been better to see the real archeological evidence.
All I know is that... many people were in the US before us white people, but we act like we're the only ones who deserve to be here these days LOL some nerve!
