Yeah, we have a selfies thread for selfies already, and it keeps your identity more secure in the member's section! This board is public.

Photography is art through photographs, so the subject can technically be of anything.

However, I'm guessing a selfie isn't quite the same as an artistic or professional self-portrait ;p I wouldn't submit my web cam or phone selfies to a photography contest lol

Do you have a smart phone? You can get some nice looking shots from them when it comes to sceneries and stuff. I have been doing that instead of lugging a camera everywhere... yeah, the quality isn't as good, but good enough for my lazy butt... lol
